[生生탐방] 우여곡절 끝 개통...대곡소사선 개통 첫날 훑어보기 - 철도경제신문

현재  대곡~소사 구간만 개통입니다!

서해선의 대곡역까지의 개통으로 경기 서부 지역과 김포공항과의 접근이 획기적으로 단축되었습니다. 이제 부천이나 고양에서도 김포공항까지 30분 이내에 도달할 수 있게 되었습니다. 또한, 앞으로 경의중앙선의 일산역까지 연장 운행이 계획되어 있어, 이미 노선도에는 일산역까지의 구간이 반영되어 있습니다. 이로 인해 일부 승객들이 혼동하여 대곡역에서 내리지 않는 모습이 보일 수도 있습니다. 또한, 서해선의 연장 개통으로 김포공항역은 우리나라에서 최초로 5개의 노선이 교차하는 중요한 교통 허브로 변모하게 될 것으로 예상됩니다.

"The Seohae Line, which connects the western part of Gyeonggi Province, has finally opened to Daegok Station after facing several crises. This opening brings a remarkable time reduction, making it possible to reach Gimpo International Airport within 30 minutes from places like Bucheon or Goyang. The route map already reflects the plan to run directly to Ilsan Station using the existing line of the Gyeongui-Jungang Line.

Because of this, some passengers mistakenly thought that the train would go all the way to Ilsan Station and didn't get off at Daegok Station.

The extension of the Seohae Line's opening will transform Gimpo International Airport Station into a mega-hub where five train lines intersect for the first time in Korea, solidifying its position as a major transportation hub."
